Star Hunter DX is an old-school shooter for a new era, fusing the dodge-and-destroy thrill of classic arcade shoot ‘em ups with sleek, modern game design elements. Brought back from the brink of death after being betrayed by her very own crew, Luna Starr now seeks vengeance upon those who wronged her. Experience Luna’s intergalactic quest for revenge in widescreen, with crisp pixel art and original character designs inspired by ‘80s cartoons. Choose between Luna and two other unlockable fighters, each with their own distinctive style, and conquer the cosmos as you dodge through kaleidoscopic bullet patterns and blast your way through over fifty unique enemy types.

- Outnumbered and outgunned, it’s a good thing Luna has an ace up her sleeve; a space fighter craft with the ability to alter the flow of time itself! Collect energy from foes destroyed to activate Bullet Time, sending enemies (and their projectiles) into slow motion while you continue to fly and shoot at normal speed.
- During Bullet Time, the bullets from any enemies you destroy will be converted into precious gold cubes to collect! Will you use Bullet Time to simply fight for survival amongst the hordes, or put your life on the line for a massive score boost? With so many ways to play and win, Star Hunter DX welcomes new players but rewards hardcore fans and those daring enough to take risks.
- Play as Luna, Edgar or CAT-99 as you venture through space on your mission for enemy submission. Each has a unique way of fighting, so every playstyle is accounted for and each playthrough is different!
- Star Hunter DX is challenging, but it wants you to succeed; the extensive practice mode will help teach beginners how to best the bullets, all the while allowing pros to perfect their runs.
