Shintaro Kanaoya

Founder, CEO

blank

Shin is the founder and CEO of Chorus Worldwide, with overall responsibility for the company’s strategy, and a particular focus on finding great games to publish.

Shin’s career started in 1996, at UK developer Bullfrog Productions, which had recently been acquired by EA. That began a 12-year run at EA, where he performed a variety of roles in both development and publishing, in the UK and Japan. In 2008, Kanaoya joined Microsoft, and took on the role of Head of Business Strategy for Rare Ltd, a wholly-owned studio within MS. In 2011, he transferred to Vancouver, Canada. After leaving Microsoft in 2014, and seeing a need for a route to market for indie developers into the rapidly growing Asian markets, Kanaoya founded Chorus Worldwide.

An avid gamer and movie-goer/series binger, when not seated, you can find him on the slopes in Winter, or nursing a sour beer on a patio in Summer.

Jez is Chorus’ Chief Content Officer. He spearheads our efforts to find great games from brilliant teams, and working with them to help them realize their visions.

Jez joined the gaming industry in 1998 and was most recently Executive Producer at Supermassive Games, where he was the Producer on the award-winning Until Dawn. He also spent 3 years at Relentless Games as the lead designer on Buzz, and prior to that, worked as a game designer at EA.

Jez is based in London and when not playing games or reading an inordinate number of books, he likes to run vast distances for no particular reason, and has won multiple medals for doing so.

Fuzuki Ninomiya

COO

blank

Fuzuki joined Chorus in 2017, as COO. His primary focus is on the production of Chorus’ titles.

Before Chorus, Fuzuki held a variety of production positions in Tokyo, including Chief Development Officer for G&D Co. Ltd, where he oversaw over 200 staff. He also spent 12 years at EA Japan, leaving in 2012 as Director of Product Localization for Asia. Fuzuki is bilingual in Japanese and English.

When not crushing production tasks, he can be found in the gym crushing sandbags and sparring partners, or in kickboxing tournaments, crushing opponents.
